Samuel Scheuer is a high-end linen store on Union Square in San Francisco, and their new ownership asked RAIN to refresh their brand. The company has been around since 1935, but it’s never been like this before.

An entire online overhaul of the hardwood giant. RAIN gave Nova an original outlook within one of the most competitive industries on the planet. Our photography displays Nova’s primary floor brand, Elemental, in a way no other company has… floors you can actually live on.

One of North America’s largest software companies gave personality to an otherwise dull brand. Bill Derr is the embodiment of hard work, knowhow, and construction accounting. We created a product demo, direct mailers, and trade show collateral based around Derr’s life and times.
Oregon Cultural Trust – “This Is Culture” Rebranding, Print & Social Outreach
Oregon Cultural Trust, the only federal trust of its kind, is a savior of all things culture in Oregon. By branding original photography, buildings, TwitPics, food carts, sidewalks, bus stops and that statue that you walk by everyday on your way to work as “Culture”, RAIN gave Oregonians a deeper look into what exactly the Oregon Cultural Trust supports.
TrailerDecking – Website Design, Photography and Trade Show Materials
TrailerDecking.com is the country’s #1 provider of apitong, the wood that America’s truckers use to deck their rigs. We were inspired by the beating that a piece of apitong can take in its lifetime and gave the TrailerDecking.com brand a tough-guy overhaul to instill some pride in their customers.

The country’s first and only residential fuel cell manufacturer, ClearEdge Power is promoting the future of energy. We developed direct mailers, print ads, airport collateral, and web designs to provide insight into energy’s next revolution.

“Saving the World from High Prices” is a mighty lofty goal, but we were up for the challenge. RAIN gave the Fantastic Floor brand a superhero persona, complete with comic interpretations, an original online identity, and designs that are more powerful than a steaming locomotive.
Intuit QuickBooks – Direct Mailing & Interactive Design
Intuit came to RAIN with a problem in mind: How can we sell more to our QuickBooks customers if they think they already have everything they need from us? RAIN’s response was typical: Why not have a little fun? Even though they’re North America’s largest private health and safety education and training firms, Health & Safety Institute needed help getting the word out about their services. We provided a unique outlook to the industry, embodying exactly what it is that HSI does.
Pivot – “Get Into Something Different” Renaming, Rebranding & Social Outreach
Pivot, a program from Cascade AIDS Project, is a shift in attitude toward prevention, education, and support within Portland’s gay community. Sit with other men that see the world the same way you do. Have a coffee. Have a chat. Make a connection outside the bar scene. We rebranded Pivot to get the community into something different.
Cutter & Buck – Catalog Design & Production
Golf and umbrellas go hand-in-hand (just watch the movie Caddyshack if you doubt us). Cutter & Buck combines the two in quality and brilliance. RAIN produced a catalog worthy of their wares, complete with unique dye-cuts, original photography, and fashion-forward styling.
ShedRain – Catalog Design & Production
A tradition unlike any other, we gave ShedRain a classic catalog design with original photography and contemporary colors.
Portland Jewish Academy – Rebranding, Brochure & Design
We branded the Portland Jewish Academy with pride. No, literally… PJA Pride. The faculty and its students are unique to any other private school because of their pride for their learning and religion, and we showed that in their identity.
Allegro – Print & Booklet Design
One of Portland most gorgeous high-rise apartment complexes, the Allegro took a different spin on selling their million-dollar investments. RAIN designed multiple books for potential investors and residents, showcasing the wonders of living in such a fabulous location.
